We are a family-owned non-profit, independent school located at the Hendersonville Racquet Club in Hendersonville, North Carolina serving student-athletes in grades 6-12. Our team of passionate educators, coaches, players, and parents offer an integrated approach to academics, athletics, and personal development.

We specialize in providing a student-centered learning environment alongside a subject-specific curriculum, designed for student-athletes who are seeking a more hands-on, alternative education.

Inspired by our own love for the game, at The Bull Academy we encourage our students to follow their passions and explore their interests. We help our students discover who they are beyond just an athlete. We empower our students to be agents over their own learning, developing the skills they will need to be successful in college and beyond.

Our integrated and holistic approach fosters a learning environment that reduces the student-athlete “burn out” that often happens in traditional public education.  The mental and physical demands on a student athlete can be overwhelming.  Alternative focused learning lets the student progress at a pace that balances academic and athletic priorities for success both on and off the court.

The Bull Academy provides a unique classroom environment and offers a wide variety of course offerings and personalized instruction for students. In addition to the standard core course of study, our school emphasizes student choice, community service, internships, and project-based learning, giving students the opportunities to make educational decisions based on their future vocational interests.

The tennis academy at The Bull Academy is intentionally designed by the coaches and educators to provide elite training that builds both athletic talent and academic success. By combining top-tier coaching, state-of-the-art facilities, and competitive match play with leadership development, physical fitness, and mental conditioning, The Bull Academy is committed to preparing our student-athletes to compete at the highest level.

Through our Sports Psychology and Exercise Science course electives, students learn the off-court skills needed to perform at their best. Our expert coaching professionals are all trained, licensed, and certified to work with inspiring collegiate athletes. At the academy athletes receive a variety of instruction intended to help them stay healthy, prevent injury, and take their mental and physical game to the next level.

The Bull Academy is located at the Hendersonville Racquet Club in the heart of Hendersonville, North Carolina. Students have access to top-tier courts, workout equipment, and a variety of amenities. The classroom is equipped with smart TVs, laptops, modern resources, and standards-based curriculum materials. For community service projects and internship opportunities students may partner with various organizations in the Hendersonville community.

Additionally, our campus is located conveniently near Asheville, Greenville, Charlotte, and other major cities that host junior tournaments. Surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains students not only have access to state-of-the-art tennis facilities but plenty of outdoor recreation to foster an appreciation for a balanced, healthy lifestyle to improve their performance and longevity.
